Harold Godwinson should be king because he is the only true Englishman out of the four candidates.He claims that he is the most powerful man in England and is a very strong, bold and courageous soldier.He has the best claim to the throne than any of the others for he is also Edwards brother-in-law and his own family had been Enward's advisors.The witan also want him to be the King of England so he has a greater chance of becoming King.Harold said before the tragic death, Edward himself said,on his own death bed, that Harold should become the great ruler of England.
